Yesterday was my first real coupon success. The deals were so great that I went back this morning to capitalize on it. Thanks to my new coupon friend Alison, Albertsons Doubler coupons and a great Albertsons staff that supplied me with my needed tuna coupons and the patience to ring up countless transactions, I was able to score-- BIG TIME!
Here's what I came away with:
4- 6-packs of Hershey's Chocolate Bars
3- packages of Twizzlers
1- 32oz yogurt (not pictures, that was breakfast)
22- Wish Bone Bountiful Salad Dressings
2- Right Guard Deodorant
4- jars Nalley Kosher Pickles
23 bananas
480 StarKist Chunk Light Tuna Pouches
Total payout: $5.17
Total savings: $955.38 (this is not a joke, I'm serious!)
The tuna turned out to be free with the doublers, manufacturer's coupons, two $2 off surveys on my receipts, and catalinas (coupons that print out of a machine at the register.) Most of the rest rang up negative and I had to buy bananas just to make it positive.( I'm going to dehydrate the bananas so they won't go bad-- my husband's idea!) I paid for most of my transactions with change. Now that I'm stocked up on Tuna and Salad dressing, all I need in order to prepare for next week's shopping trip are more nickels and pennies!
Needless to say, this Coupon Virgin is now a dedicated believer!

I attached a picture of my spoils. Some of the bananas are missing (my kids have banana radars),the yogurt was in the fridge from breakfast so I forgot to pull it out, and the tuna is being special ordered in but the rest is there. WAHOO!
